Munn Avenue Closure Notice

As part of the project to reconstruct the deteriorated South Munn Avenue roadway, Munn Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from South Avenue to the north Maryville High School entrance, beginning approximately March 15, 2013 through May 15, 2013. During this time, the Maryville High School will be accessible by Munn Avenue from the south by using Highway V.
Munn Avenue Reconstruction Closure Notice

S. Munn Closing Maryville, MO – The City of Maryville is proceeding with a project to reconstruct the deteriorated Munn Avenue roadway, from South Avenue to Missouri State Highway V. The project includes construction of approximately 3,800 linear feet of new concrete roadway, an enclosed storm sewer system, relocation of portions of the existing waterline, and a separated bike and pedestrian trail.

A Pre-Construction meeting was held February 27th where a Notice to Proceed date was established for the contractor on March 15, 2013. At such time the contractor, Orr Management Construction, will be allowed to proceed with mobilization and construction of Phase I. The first phase of the project will require the closure of Munn Avenue from South Avenue to the north Maryville High School entrance. This section of roadway will be closed to thru traffic from approximately March 15, 2013 through May 15, 2013. During this time, the Maryville High School will be accessible by Munn Avenue from the south by using Highway V.
