Downtown Design Guidelines

The City of Maryville has partnered with MDIO to update the Downtown Design Guidelines from 2009. Developed as a part of the Downtown Revitalization & Economic Assistance for Missouri (DREAM) initiative, design guidelines provide a framework for development and redevelopment of properties in the downtown district. The document provides guidance to help recapture the characteristics of existing buildings and the properties that make downtown's unique.

On July 22, 2019, the City Council approved the Downtown Design Guidelines by resolution making it a guiding document for future planning and redevelopment activities within downtown Maryville.
